Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress who achieved fame for her role in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. In the late 80s, she began her acting career, and was famous for her role as Tezaab, in which she starred alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Then she appeared in the movie Dil where she starred alongside Aamir Khan. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing at a young age. As a teen, she tried her hand at acting, but the majority of those early films did not succeed. Eventually she became one the top actresses from Indian films. She decided to take a break from her career following her marriage before returning to the world of entertainment. Recenty, she had a prominent performance in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit won 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. She was also honored with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. Also, she is well recognized for her charity work.
